Happy Birthday Karen!

Karen turned 7! We had a pretty low-key day. I do friend parties for my kids every other year (I have a low stress threshold--sorry kids!) and this was an off year for her. We started out by opening her presents:  Legos, My Little Pony, art supplies, clothes and a robe. She got money from some relatives and she's still plotting how to spend it. We had breakfast at The Waffle House. She wanted us to all come to her karate class that day. That evening we had one of her favorite dinners, taco soup, and had cake and ice cream. A simple, but great day!
