My friend Suzan and I took our kids to the beach. The kids had a great time playing in the sand and the water. Natalie and her friend went pretty far out--there is a sand bar a ways out and the water isn't as deep. But they had to go through a spot where it is deep to get there and it was making us nervous.
It was a really hot day and I should have gone in the water, but instead I sat and talked to Suzan the whole time (which was a blast) and got a sunburn. Just looking at the pictures makes me want to get in. Next time....
