We had a busy week leading up to Karen's baptism. My parents, Jonathan's dad and Bethany came to visit. We had so much fun shopping, doing household projects, playing games, seeing Kirtland, eating and watching BYU basketball (except both games started at 11pm).

| Beautiful Kirtland Temple. We had a great tour. |
Following our temple tour, we had lunch at a restaurant called Melt. They have every variety of a grilled cheese sandwich imaginable. My dad ordered a shamrock shake, picturing a tasty, refreshing milkshake. He got this. Pretty sure it had whiskey in it. We had a good laugh and sent it back with the waitress. Natalie was so sweet and made Grandpa a shamrock shake later that day.

| Cute picture Bethany took of Isaac sleeping. He never felt the (gentle) pokes. |
On Saturday morning, Peter, Courtney, Christian, Robyn, Hannah, Rachel, Nathan and Aaron arrived. Christian made omelets and we had a lazy day playing games and enjoying each other's company. We had a full house, but thanks to our finished basement there was room for everyone. Bethany cooked a fantastic dinner that night.

Sunday was Karen's birthday and her baptism day. It all went so well. Some friends helped me with refreshments--we had cupcakes. Another friend decorated the tables. I wish I'd gotten a picture. Our neighbors, the Bowers, and Karen's teacher, Miss Bayuk came. It was such a great day! We were lucky to have so much family there.
The east coast group left Sunday after church and the Utah group flew home Monday morning.
