InfantSEE

I took Isaac to the eye doctor today. His vision is normal and the doctor did not detect any red flags. I didn't even know that infants should be screened in their first year, again at 3 years, 6 years, then every year after that. Natalie got glasses last month and it turns out that her lazy eye should have been picked up years ago. Her doctor told me about InfantSEE. Since 2005, member optometrists have provided a comprehensive infant eye assessment within the first year of life as a no cost public health service. This isn't one of those liberal socialized medicine programs--this is doctors offering their services to the public at no cost. So those of you with infants, check out the website, find a participating doctor near you and make an appointment.
