Joshua liked lighting his marshmallows on fire. He also wondered what would happen to the inside of a pencil if you lit it on fire. Hmmm....

We got this inflatable boat for the kids to float around in. Catherine and Leland almost floated out to sea in it with their kids. Thus the Most Dramatic Family Rescue.
The cousins all got along so well and had a great time. We had 14 kids ranging from 4 months old (Jack) to 8 years old (Natalie).
Megan buried in the sand. We sculpted her into a mermaid.
Joshua and Hannah buried in the sand. We sculpted Joshua into a super hero and Hannah into a ballerina (sort of).
The Polar Plunge. Christian was the quickest and bravest of us all.

Leland, Catherine, Lucy and Jack Faux. They were last minute additions to the trip and we were all so glad they decided to come.
Joshua is holding two of the skinny silver fish the kids collected by the bucket-full. Kind of gross! Fortunately we never saw the fish again after the first day. Grandpa is playing on his i-Phone.
Some loot--this is what stunk up the Zip-locs. Am I bad for not bringing this home?!

That is all so much fun! What a treat to have so much family together...and at such a location. Glad you enjoyed your vacation!

i love the beach!! you are making day dream about my fam's reunion in destin in aug! how fun, there were so many cousins together, making memories. that's awesome. looks like you guys had a blast!! isaac is growing up too fast!
Wow, that looks like such a fun trip! And I can't believe how big your kids are! Last time I saw them, there was only Natalie and Megan and they were so small! In your pictures, I can't tell the difference between Karen and Megan! Super cute.
