Megan turned 8 years old on December 25. She opened her presents Christmas afternoon. We decided to save her cake until the next day for when we were in Michigan. She ate her birthday cake with 8 cousins, 2 aunts, 2 uncles and her family. We sang a very loud Happy Birthday (she's plugging her ears in the picture). 
Megan is my sweetheart. She is so kind and thoughtful of others. She plays really well with Isaac and is always willing to help me by taking care of him. She is a talented artist and is making good progress on the piano. She is a good student and her teachers always love having her in class. When I broke the news to her current teacher that we were moving the first thing she said was, "what are we going to do without Megan?!"
